Wolverine is giving the Merc with the Mouth a taste of his own medicine.

Hugh Jackman took a nod from Ryan Reynolds, whose Deadpool character stapled a paper cut-out of Jackman to his face in the R-rated film. This time, Jackman sported a Reynolds mask for a funny roast video to celebrate his buddy’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“Ryan Reynolds here. Method actor. I’m working on my Australian accent. I’m doing a Crocodile Dundee 7. You’re gonna love it,” Jackman joked in the video. “You may remember me from such things as People Magazine’s 2010 Sexiest Man Alive or the 12th best DC Comics movie Green Lantern. Who would have thought just three years after getting a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame, I would be getting a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame?”

The roast didn’t end there. “How could a guy who failed his high school drama class be this talented?” he continued. “I have no answer for that. But to quote my favorite actor in the world, the great Australian Hugh Jackman, who, by the way, was People’s Sexiest Man Alive way before me, ‘Americans are the most generous country on the planet.'”

“Hugh Jackman is one of the best human beings,” Reynolds told EW. “Part of the reason I want to do a Deadpool/Wolverine movie is not just because I think the two would light the screen on fire but I genuinely love the guy.”

Sadly, Jackman is planning to make Logan his final outing as the adamantium-clawed mutant. But, as Reynolds said, “What we’re gonna have to do is convince Hugh. If anything, I’m going to need to do what I can to get my Internet friends back on board to help rally another cause down the line.”
