Bill O'Reilly publisher stands by ousted Fox News anchor

Henry Holt isn't changing its plans after O'Reilly was removed from Fox News following sexual harassment claims

Bill O’Reilly may have been ousted from longtime employer Fox News after numerous allegations of sexual harassment hit the O’Reilly Factor host — but his book publisher Henry Holt isn’t following suit, despite backlash from the industry.

“Our plans have not changed,” the publisher confirmed to EW Thursday. Holt publishes O’Reilly’s successful Killing series, which includes Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, Killing Jesus, Killing Patton, and Killing Reagan. The fallen news host’s most recent release with Holt is Old School: Life in the Sane Lane, published in March 2017, in which he defends “traditional values.”

Two upcoming books are still advertised on Holt’s website: A June release for young readers called The Day the World Went Nuclear: Dropping the Atom Bomb and the End of World War II in the Pacific and an untitled September release co-written with Martin Dugard.

O’Reilly called his Fox firing “tremendously disheartening.”
