Bradley Cooper revealed himself as Gilmore Girls fan to star Scott Patterson: 'Luke!'

Patterson shared a recent interaction he had with Cooper at the Critics Choice Awards.

Does the maestro himself have a thing for Stars Hollow?

During a live taping of his I'm All In podcast, Gilmore Girls star Scott Patterson recalled a recent moment he shared with Maestro director (and writer and star) Bradley Cooper at the Critics Choice Awards. "The table in front of us had all the Maestro people," Patterson says. And that wasn't an easy fact to ignore, because, according to Patterson, "All of these people were going up to Bradley Cooper. He had a line of people wanting selfies and all this kind of stuff."

When Patterson decided he'd also like a selfie with the nominee, he got in line. "So I got up to the guy after he's finished with his hundredth person, and I said the stupidest thing in the world because it wasn't true," Patterson says with a laugh. "I said, 'Listen, I don't want a selfie with you.'"

But it was Cooper's response that really caught him by surprise. "And he turns around and he looks at me and he goes, 'Luke, what's up bro?'"

According to Patterson, the two of them then had "a little conversation" and that was that.

Although it's impossible to say if Cooper is actually a Gilmore Girls fan or just aware of the series, we like to imagine that he's seen every episode, regularly says "oy with the poodles already," and has a favorite Rory boyfriend.

The live podcast, which featured a reunion with Patterson's Gilmore Girls costars Keiko Agena (Lane), Sebastian Bach (Gil), Vanessa Marano (April), and Sally Struthers (Babette), can be watched on Veeps for a limited amount of time.
