Oppenheimer, Barbie, The Bear lead 2024 Critics Choice Awards: See the full winners list

Find out who the critics deemed the best in film and television.

These days, everyone's a critic. But there's only one Critics Choice Awards, where the professionally skeptical get to pick their favorite films and television of the previous year.

Last year's host Chelsea Handler returned to oversee the ceremony, where Oppenheimer led all film nominees with eight wins: Best Picture, Best Acting Ensemble, Best Director for Christopher Nolan, Best Supporting Actor for Robert Downey Jr., Best Cinematography, Best Score, Best Editing, and Best Visual Effects. That movie's July-release counterpart, Barbie, went home with a half-dozen awards: Best Comedy, Best Original Screenplay, Best Song for "I'm Just Ken," Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, and Best Hair and Makeup.

Elsewhere, Emma Stone won Best Actress for her performance in Poor Things, and The Holdovers trio of stars all took home trophies: Best Actor for Paul Giamatti, Best Supporting Actress for Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Best Young Actor/Actress for Dominic Sessa.

On the TV side, Succession, The Bear, and Beef dominated the drama, comedy, and limited series categories, respectively. The final season of Succession won the top drama category, in addition to wins for Best Actress for Sarah Snook, and Best Actor for Kieran Culkin. Season 2 of The Bear scored wins for Best Actor for Jeremy Allen White, Best Actress for Ayo Edebiri, and Best Supporting Actor for Ebon Moss-Bachrach, in addition to Best Comedy. Beef stars Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, and Mario Bello won in their respective categories.
