Nikki Haley slams The View hosts: 'I did a whole lot more than Whoopi Goldberg will ever do'

The Republican presidential candidate spoke out after the panelists on the talk show repeatedly criticized her during the election campaign.

Nikki Haley is burning down The View's Hot Topics table.

The Republican presidential candidate — whom the cohosts have regularly criticized on the talk show during her run against Donald Trump to become the GOP nominee — hit back at the panelists during a Fox News interview earlier this week, taking particular aim at Whoopi Goldberg after the Oscar-winning actress and View moderator suggested that Haley hadn't accomplished much during her political career.

"I've done quite a bit. I will tell you, as governor, we accomplished a lot, as U.N. ambassador, we accomplished a lot. I did a whole lot more than Whoopi Goldberg will ever do, and it is not the ladies on The View that I ever care to impress," Haley said Tuesday on America Reports. "At the end of the day, I'm fighting or every American's vote. This is a chance to get our party right. The party that leaves their 80-year-old candidate behind is the party that will win. Mark my words. It is hugely important that we get a new generational conservative leader in the White House that leaves the baggage and the negativity behind."

EW has reached out to The View and Haley's team for comment, as the show's hosts have repeatedly expressed interest in having Haley sit at the table for an interview.

In recent weeks, legal expert Sunny Hostin suggested that Haley "needs to take several seats" as she continues her uphill battle against Trump, while Goldberg turned toward the camera on a recent installment of the show to speak directly to the former governor of South Carolina.

"Nikki, what have you done? What have you done, really?" Goldberg said. "What can you point to?"

While a majority of The View hosts stand against Haley, conservative personality Alyssa Farah Griffin — who previously worked for Trump's White House communications team before resigning in 2020 — has voiced support for Haley as an alternative to Trump, despite the politician's stances on LGBTQIA+ issues and controversial statements on race in America.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC. Watch Haley slam the cohosts of The View in the video above.
