The View removes Alyssa Farah Griffin's sperm 'as a nice face cream' moment from episode

After the Republican cohost said sperm can be used "as a nice face cream" during Friday's live telecast, subsequent airings on Hulu and social media scrubbed the quote.

Alyssa Farah Griffin came on to The View too strong this week, as the show has removed the Republican cohost's quip about using sperm as "a nice face cream" from subsequent airings of Friday's live broadcast.

During a conversation about fertility tied to the Alabama Supreme Court's recent ruling that frozen embryos could potentially be considered children under state law, the 34-year-old former Donald Trump associate responded to fellow Republican panelist Ana Navarro's observations about frozen sperm by telling her colleagues that one might consider using sperm "as a nice face cream," before throwing her hands up and admitting that her own words were "gross" as she giggled.

EW captured the moment as aired — and uncensored — during the live telecast (which you can see in the video above), though the audio drops out on the episode's Hulu edition. A clip shared by Navarro from The View's official Instagram page took the censoring one step further, as both footage and audio of Griffin's quote were removed entirely.

Friday's episode also featured an intense debate about the Alabama Supreme Court ruling, when Sara Haines asserted that she would "check" legal expert Sunny Hostin — a devout Catholic who said she aligned with those who feel that an embryo is a baby — with facts and sciences related to the topic.

The View airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC. Watch Griffin's uncensored "face cream" joke about sperm in the video above.
