Eliana Johnson and Chris Stirewalt love the news business but they hate a lot of what’s happening to it these days. Using their decades of experience in print, digital and TV news they tell the story behind the stories, always on the lookout for bias, sloppy reporting and, well, just plain wretched journalism. Every week they help you to be a better, smarter news consumer.

Five stars for Eliana
Eliana is concise and insightful. She is fun to listen to regardless of the topic from how to find great designer purse knock-offs to politics. Chris is very long winded, on and on he goes. I often just have to fast forward through him.
Thought-provoking!
This is my second 5 star review. I listen to Eliana and Chris intently each week. It is like having two friends in my living room discussing articles and perspectives. I look forward to their “visits.” The discussions are thought-provoking and often make me consider differing ideas. I also love the interplay between Eliana and Chris. They can disagree and still exhibit civility and respect toward each other! Eliana is direct and decisive, while Chris is empathetic and explores historical perspectives. Keep up the humor, delicious food references, and the great discussion. You enrich my life each week!
