We are excited to partner with APC Microbiome Ireland, SFI Research Centre, a world-leading SFI Research Centre based in University College Cork for a two-year joint exploration into how diet can support cognitive health. This collaboration combines our long-standing experience in commercialising science-backed ingredients with APC’s cutting-edge microbiome research. The research will be leveraged to develop innovative postbiotic solutions focused on the gut-brain axis, which could address issues relating to stress, anxiety and mood. Today we reported our Half Year results for 2024. Group margins have increased by 160 basis points, with profits up 6.6% to €552m for the half. Group volumes have also increased by 1.7% (up 3.1% in the Taste & Nutrition Division). Edmond Scanlon, CEO of Kerry Group said; “We are pleased to report a good performance across the first half of the year. Taste & Nutrition delivered good volume growth ahead of our end markets, with strong profit growth and margin expansion across the business, contributing to our earnings per share growth of 9.1% in the period”.
