Updating an earlier report, New Orleans Saints RB Kendre Miller (hamstring) dropped out of practice on Wednesday, July 24, due to a hamstring issue, per head coach Dennis Allen, who said afterwards that it was "hard to make the team when you're in the training room all the time." Huddle Up: Despite Allen's comments, it's hard to imagine the team is anywhere close to giving up on Miller, who was a third-round pick last year. Plus, at age 22, he's much younger than Alvin Kamara or Jamaal Williams, who are the other primary options on the depth chart. Still, Miller missed nine games as a rookie, so durability is something to be concerned about. Assuming he outlasts Williams for the RB2 role, Miller looks like a decent choice as a fourth or fifth back for fantasy owners.
