Shipping Policies

We currently ship only to the United States. We do not offer international shipping.

All orders will have shipping charges added unless otherwise noted. Shipping charges are based on weight and size of package, and destination zip code. Shipping charges are non-refundable. “Flat-rate” and “free shipping” specials are only available within the United States. Flat-rate shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii are greater than those of the continental US, and some items may have additional surcharges added based on size and weight.

Oversize or heavy packages may have surcharges added, regardless of whether “flat-rate”, “free shipping”, or “standard shipping” are chosen. You will be contacted for approval of additional shipping charges if surcharges apply to your order.

Orders are typically shipped within 2 to 3 business days, excluding those placed on weekends or holidays, which are shipped on the next business day. This does not apply to custom or special orders, or Express Shipping.

We ship orders to the shipping address the customer provides.

Two Hands Paperie is not responsible for packages that are shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.  Please confirm shipping addresses are correct. If a package is delivered to an incorrect address due to the customer providing it, it is the responsibility of the customer to follow up with the United States Postal Service, or appropriate carrier, to have the package redirected or returned to us. We do not issue refunds for lost packages due to incorrect delivery address, or refund shipping charges for improperly addressed orders. We do not reship for free.

Tracking numbers will be emailed on the day your package ships. Please check your Spam folder if you cannot find your tracking email.

We reuse packing materials and shipping boxes from deliveries we receive whenever possible. Please reuse or recycle these materials.

Shipping Methods

Our preferred carriers are UPS and the United States Postal Service. When “flat-rate shipping” or “free shipping” are chosen, orders are shipped using the ground shipping method we choose, usually UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail, but occasionally First Class, Parcel Post, or FEDEX. Priority Mail and Parcel Post packages deliver within 5 to 10 days in the Continental United States, but can take up to two weeks. FEDEX and UPS can take 5 to 10 days for delivery.

Expedited shipping can be arranged on any order for additional fees. If you have a time-sensitive delivery, wish to have better control over your package, up-to-date tracking information, and delivery confirmation, consider using expedited shipping. Please note- “Flat-rate” or “free shipping” items are not expedited. PLEASE EMAIL us before placing your order if you need expedited shipping or include a note in your order. We sometimes ship orders immediately upon receiving them and your order may be in the mail as soon as it is placed. Our expedited shipping methods are UPS  and USPS Express shipping. Expedited shipping usually arrives within one to two days.

Final Note- The Reality of Shipping Packages
With millions of packages moving across the country daily and that number increasing by the day, not to mention the reality of the new paradigm that the year 2020 has brought us, packages WILL BE DELAYED, some of them will be mis-directed, damaged, and lost entirely.

There is no absolute, 100% guarantee that a package will arrive undamaged, within the projected time, or at all- no matter the shipping method or carrier. The fine print of ALL carriers will clearly state this. While most of our shipments do arrive in a timely manner without any damage, some do not. And so we must also state this fact.

Another fact lost on most of us today is that the USPS, FEDEX and UPS share shipping services daily. We may send your package via the USPS, but there is every chance that it may be transferred to FEDEX or UPS, or even small, regional carriers that we've never heard of, for movement across the country, then back to the USPS at its destination city. A FEDEX or UPS package may receive its actual delivery by the USPS. Unfortunately there is no way for us to tell when or if this will happen, no way to track the package once it changes carriers, and no way to tell when it will actually be delivered.  This is the reality of shipping today which most companies do not disclose and most people are unaware of.
