Research funders, institutions, and publishers are increasingly talking about Open Research. As a broad term which encourages accessibility, transparency, and reproducibility of research and supporting information, Open Research includes the practices of sharing data, code, preprints, and methods, or working in new ways such as Registered Reports. We invite you to join Matt Cannon, Head of Open Research, and Dr. Dr. Rebecca Taylor-Grant, Head of Open Data Initiatives, on Thursday, July 25 for the webinar “Understanding Open Research for STM” to discuss and ask questions about publishing Open Research in the sciences: http://spr.ly/6040c8cu8 #OpenResearch #OpenScience

As part of our commitment to open research, we’ve converted over 100 of our hybrid journals to full open access, and are working on converting even more. One of the journals that has already made the switch is Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics. As Founder and Editor-in-Chief Ronald Ellis, PhD, MBA highlights, the move to full OA is helping to boost the reach and impact of vital health research published in the journal.
