“For me, there is no choice but to make certain that we reelect Joe Biden,” Stacey Abrams, senior counsel at Rewiring America, says on this week’s Zero.

The future of Joe Biden’s presidential candidacy was top of mind at the Bloomberg Green Festival in Seattle this week, where Stacey Abrams — voting rights activist, former Georgia gubernatorial candidate and senior counsel at Rewiring America — applauded the administration’s work to make climate-friendly options available to consumers through the Inflation Reduction Act. Abrams said that explaining those benefits to voters is the crucial work that has to get done before November.

“President Biden is the right person to be on the ballot, but the work of winning an election is about who you get to show up to the booth,” Abrams said. “And that’s the work of everyone who cares about the future of this country. So I’m not concerned, I’m committed.”
