Her mother, Haley, later told Fox 5 Vegas that she stopped recording when her son approached, and she had to scold him to slow down. In that brief moment she was looking away, Haley said the horse closed in on Olivia (inset) and kicked her in the head - leaving the young girl unresponsive.

Over half a million bikers and partygoers descended on Sturgis, South Dakota this week for the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, where a staggering number of attendees were arrested. Footage posted online shows the suspect repeatedly yelling at a three-year-old boy inside his white GMC truck to 'shut up' and 'get in the damn car' as the toddler could be heard crying. He then slaps the boy at least three times, as he yells, 'I said shut up.'

Six leading oncologists and two resident medics, in their final year of training, were on their way from their home city of Cascavel to a cancer conference in Sao Paulo when the twin-engine turboprop ATR 72-500 VoePass Airline flight crashed into a gated community killing all on board on Friday. Eduardo Baptistella of the Regional Medical Council said: 'Unfortunately we received very sad news and were able to confirm the death of eight doctors. The doctors were going to an oncology conference. These were people who dedicated their lives to saving others.' Some of the doctors' names began to emerge last night including radiologist Leonel Ferreira, pediatric cancer expert Sarah Stella and Silvia Osaki. Mr Baptistella said 15 doctors had been scheduled to take the two-hour doomed flight but seven had taken an earlier plane.

Tyrese Haliburton hardly played for the USA men's basketball team at the Olympics, but the Pacers guard is evidently not too upset about it as he poked fun at his role after the gold medal game. Following the USA's win over France, which Haliburton did not appear in, he posted a selfie with his gold medal - along with a hilarious caption. The law, drawn up by President Tayyip Erdogan's ruling AK Party, was introduced amid concerns about attacks, road accidents and rabies in the country, which has an estimated 4 million stray dogs. While it is aimed at removing the dogs off the streets and putting them into shelters, the law does state that any dogs showing aggressive behaviour or those with untreatable diseases will be put down.
