This is the heartwarming moment a King's Guard bursts into tears after being surprised by her parents while on duty int he pouring rain. Crowds gathered around the soldier in the heavy rain outside Buckingham Palace, posing for pictures next to the stoic guard's horse. As a crowd gathered and tourists come forward to stroke the horse's nose, the guard remains still and calm until she spots her parents in the crowd. The soldier starts to tear up and her face begins to crumple as her mother and father emerge from a sea of umbrellas and come to the front of the throng of tourists. As her father, in a black mac and rucksack, strokes the nose of the horse, he seems to chatter away to his emotional daughter who tries to keep her tears at bay.

Roger Grose (left), 68, took himself to hospital in the city of Plovdiv (right) after feeling unwell while on a two-week holiday in Bulgaria. The father-of-two was checked over by medics who gave him the all clear - but he later returned to the same hospital after his symptoms continued, according to his daughter Deborah. She claims that hospital staff refused to see her father despite his protests about feeling unwell, before he had an 'altercation' with security staff. Deborah said: 'From what we have been told he phoned himself an ambulance because he was feeling dizzy and had a headache. They checked his vitals over and told him he was fine. We were then told he had the options to stay a few hours or discharge him. I'm not sure how long it was but we have been told that he then went back to the hospital saying he still didn't feel well on the same day and from what I have been told there was an altercation with security because they refused to see him a second time.'

Roy Whaley was 22 when his GP first offered to prescribe him antidepressants, but he resisted for almost a year. At the time he was suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Rishi Sunak 's neighbours have said they are excited to see more of the former Prime Minister and his 'lovely' wife Akshata Murty after they were booted from No 10 yesterday following a Labour landslide. People living in the tiny North Yorkshire village of Kirby Sigston claimed that the ousted premier, who lives in a private late-Georgian house in the area, is 'too nice to be a politician'. Mr Sunak moved to the village with his tech firm heiress wife and two daughters, Krishna and Anoushka, after the Tory leader was elected MP for the now defunct Richmond constituency in 2015. The quaint spot is populated by a scattered collection of farms, cottages and manor houses with the last property to be sold fetching £800,000, according to Zoopla. With a castle dating back to 1336, Kirby Sigston is steeped in history and the village boasts a church with a 12th century knave and a 13th century chancel.

After a nail-biting 120 minutes in Dusseldorf, supporters did their best to see the national team through to victory - but silence echoed through the stadium as the two teams stepped up to decide the match with a shootout after being held to 1-1. With an early save from goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, the England players' heads were lifted for the team to cruise on to victory, slotting home all five penalties before the terraces erupted back into life.

Allen Ray McGrew, 41, had been celebrating the 4th of July on Thursday evening at a neighborhood block party in Summerville, Dorchester County. Dressed as Uncle Sam, footage captured by his wife Paige showed McGrew dancing a jig in his full festive rig out as he celebrated the holiday.
