TMZ also asked an individual who was detained with Scheffler about his demeanor in custody, to which he responded: 'He kept saying it was [rubbish] that he was there.'

It was revealed that a fatal accident involving a pedestrian happened outside the club at 5.09am. With the heavy traffic caused by the accident, Scheffler got caught in a misunderstanding, which led to him dragging an officer with his vehicle.

Scheffler was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer, criminal mischief, reckless driving, and disregarding signals from an officer directing traffic. However, prosecutors in Kentucky are reportedly expected to drop the charges.
