Kristin Cavallari lists four-bedroom Nashville farmhouse for $11M
Kristin Cavallari has listed her 6,788 square foot Nashville, Tennessee home for sale for $11 million, after purchasing the home for $3 million in April 2020. The star, 37, had renovated the farmhouse soon after purchasing it, which took 18 months to complete and included redoing the kitchen, finishing the basement, updating the bathrooms and expanding her closet.
Kristin's home, which is located in Franklin - 21 miles south of Nashville - has four bedrooms and four full bathrooms and one half bath, sitting on 28.830 acres of land. The home is listed by Tim Thompson from Tim Thompson Premier Realtors. The star, who is currently in a relationship with TikToker Mark Estes, 24, purchased the home after splitting with husband Jay Cutler.
The property includes a main house, a gust house and a barn - all within the property. The guest house is approximately 3,070 square feet. It has state-of-the-art appliances and a walk in panty in the renovated kitchen, custom built-ins in the living room and a wood burning fireplace, as well as a master bedroom suite located on the main floor complete with a walk in shower and soaking tub, as well as a massive closet.
The property also includes a workout facility, sauna - both located in the renovated basement. The home, which was built in 2016, has a massive swimming pool, greenhouse or chicken coop, firepit, screened in patio. There is a recreational room that includes custom bunk beds, plus a game room - in addition to the three ensuite bedrooms also on the second floor.
In 2022, Kristin spoke to My Domaine about her home and how its designed to her taste - since she purchased and renovated the home after she divorced Jay. Kristin and Jay share three kids together: sons Camden, 10, and Jaxon, eight, and daughter Saylor, seven. 'I am really thankful because this is the first house I've ever lived in that is exactly what I wanted aesthetically,' she told the outlet. 'This is the first time I can truly say I really love my house,' she added.
When she first saw the house - soon after she and Jay separated - Kristin revealed that she knew it had to be hers. 'I walked in and knew immediately that it was my house. It was the energy more than anything. It's like it was calling my name,' she said. 'Had I waited a month, I never would have gotten it because that's when everyone started moving out here. To this day, I thank my lucky stars that it all worked out. Honestly, it was like everything just aligned for me,' she told My Domaine.
During the interview, she revealed that their backyard includes fruit trees and bushes - including blackberry, apple, blueberry and strawberry - as well as a vegetable garden - which includes carrots, zucchini, tomatoes and more. Kristin said her kids play outside all day, noting 'it's almost like an old-school way of raising kids.'
The star has chickens and beehives on her property, which she told the outlet makes her happy. 'Plus, teaching your kids life skills like that is neat. For my kids to be able to go out to our coop and get eggs is a really cool way to grow up - and very different thank how I grew up.'
After she moved in, Kristin began the 18-month long renovation. 'I did a lot of work. I completely gutted the kitchen, finished the basement, redid a lot of the bathrooms and added on to my closet,' she explained. Kristin also added in a pool and built the greenhouse.
She stayed in the house for most of the renovation except for six weeks - because she didn't have a kitchen; she rented a beach house six hours away for that time period. It is unknown if the star is staying in Tennessee, but she mentioned in the My Domaine interview her love for the state.
'To be able to come home to this environment is so nice for me. I can't say enough good things about Tennessee. It's very grounding for me and I feel so at ease here. This is home as far as I can see into the future,' she said. Kristin, who became a household name on the MTV reality show Laguna Beach as a teen and then The Hills as an adult and later Very Cavallari, has three published cookbooks and one lifestyle book under her belt. She also owns her brand Uncommon James, which includes jewelry, lifestyle, apparel, skincare and home goods.
