Fed-up Chicago cop's very satisfying put-down to 18 year-old woman after being called out to petty argument between two drivers

Video footage has captured the moment a fed-up Chicago cop gives a satisfying no-nonsense response to an 18-year-old woman after being called out to a petty argument between drivers.

The incident occurred during a minor traffic dispute, where the young woman allegedly refused to move her car to clear the road, causing a backup. Her mother was apparently driving the vehicle.

The footage, posted by jaybabe59 on TikTok in April, has garnered nearly 80,000 likes and more than 1,200 comments - with many praising the cop for putting the unnamed woman in her place.

The viral clip begins with the officer addressing the young woman, saying: 'Just drive. There's no lesson here,' before he asks how old she is.

When she responds and tells the officer she is 18-years-old, a woman who appears to be taking the video can be heard chiming in, saying, 'No wonder why.'

The officer, seemingly exasperated,  responded, 'Can you just take the van and drive out. You're proving a lesson to nobody - you already proved a lesson, I'm here.'

He becomes increasingly frustrated on camera, telling the woman, 'You know how many things are going on in the city? I don't have time for this nonsense.'

'I know you're only 18, so you don't understand the real world, but just drive the car forward,' he continued.

'You're proving nothing. You're just annoying people.'

She replied to the officer, 'Tell that to my mom.'

Responding nonchalantly, the cop said, 'This is all on camera. Just have a nice day,' before walking away.

Viewers rallied in support of the officer, with one commenter writing, 'This officer needs a raise....cuz some people I swear.'

'This cop actually cracked me up,' another added,

A third user echoed many other sentiments, saying: 'Protect this man at all costs.'

A survey released by the Police Executive Research Forum showed that police officer hiring across the country has increased after years of decline - with more officers hired in 2023 than in the previous four years.
