My dad started stumbling and stuttering during Biden debate - we thought he was making fun of Joe but then realized the horrifying truth

A woman admitted that she and her mother thought her father was doing an impression of Joe Biden during the debate - before realizing he was actually having a stroke.

Talor Byrne, known by her TikTok moniker Queen Tay, racked up over 3.5 million views with a video taken from the ICU after her father's medical emergency.

'I don't mean to laugh but my dad just had a stroke watching the presidential debate tonight and my mom said he started speaking gibberish and staggering,' she captioned the video.

'She thought he was just making fun of Biden.'

Byrne revealed in a GoFundMe update that her father suffered a hemorrhagic stroke, a form of brain bleeding that has just a 26 percent survival rate.

The TikTok user said that when she first arrived at the ICU, she 'told the nurse and even she laughed.'

But while commenters praised her dad's 'method acting' following President Biden's disastrous debate performance, where he stumbled over words and lost his train of thought, Taylor revealed her father's condition is no laughing matter.

She said after her dad arrived at their local hospital, they were forced to pay for a helicopter airlift to another facility because they did not have the correct equipment to help him.

Hospital officials quoted them $25,000 just for the air lift, with estimates for his lengthy rehabilitation potentially costing upwards of $100,000.

Despite suffering a hemorrhagic stroke, a rare form that occurs when a blood vessel in the brain ruptures, Taylor said in an update on her GoFundMe on Friday that her dad 'is becoming more stable in the ICU today, by a miracle.'

'This is the hardest form of stroke to survive. By the grace of God, he is alive and was able to speak a few words to us this morning,' she continued.

'He knows his name, me, my mom, where he lives, and can hold up numbers with his fingers. He still cannot speak well and cannot walk,' she wrote.

'He thought he had been here a long time, and was saddened to know he’s only been in the ICU for 12 hours. I can’t imagine how this all feels.'

With a long road to recovery ahead of him, she said her dad will require speech therapy, PT and rehabilitation work, with money for the fundraiser going towards her mounting medical bills.

Taylor added that her father supported her and her mother for years, and she is now forced to crowd fund as she has suddenly become shackled with huge medical bills.
