A man has been found dead inside the roof cavity of an abandoned house after a tip-off from an unknown caller.
The body of a 39-year-old Revesby Heights man was found by police in a public housing property on Cammarlie Street, Panania, in Sydney's southwest, about 10.20pm on Sunday night.
A New South Wales police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia attempts were being made to identify the person who alerted police to the body.

The man was thought to have died on the same evening he was found.
Initial inquiries indicated the man may have been electrocuted after cutting a live wire within the roof cavity.
A ladder and tools were also found at the scene.
'[Police] don't think he was there for any genuine reason in terms of doing work on the building,' the spokesman said.
Police did not think anyone had been squatting in the home.
Investigations into why the man was at the property were continuing.
The condition of the building was not known.
