Anthony Joshua could be set for a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko in Las Vegas after his promoter Eddie Hearn flew out to the 'Mecca of boxing' to explore the possibility of hosting the fight on the famous strip.
Joshua stopped the 41-year-old Ukrainian in the 11th round of their Wembley blockbuster in April. And though Klitschko has yet to decide whether he wants to fight on, Hearn has travelled to the States alongside Matchroom's Head of Boxing Frank Smith and Joshua's manager Freddie Cunningham.
The promoter had previously said Vegas was one of a number of possible venues for a rematch along with Dubai, Cardiff and Nigeria.

After 90,000 packed into Wembley Stadium for their first brutal encounter, the Principality Stadium in the Welsh capital seemed an obvious alternative UK option.
But last month Hearn said he thought the event would be too similar to their first fight to lure Klitschko into taking the rematch.
After speaking to the Ukrainian's manager, Bernd Bonte, the Matchroom promoter said he felt Klitschko would only be persuaded to fight on if he was offered another show-stopping spectacle.
Vegas now appears to be the clear front-runner, with Hearn expected to explore possible venues on the strip that could host the rematch. The MGM Grand Garden Arena, T-Mobile Arena and Mandalay Bay are believed to be among those in the running.

Joshua is expected to fly out there for a holiday later this week before returning to his training camp. He has never fought outside of the UK as a professional and recently said: 'Vegas, it is the Mecca of boxing and this is an opportunity.
'People wouldn't mind travelling and it is a nice big hurrah for [Klitschko]. He has achieved so much, does he have the motivation?
'I think Vegas will get his blood boiling again.'
The Ukrainian has not fought on the strip since beating DaVarryl Williamson at Caesar's Palace in 2004.
