Salah has a year left on his Liverpool deal but recently confirmed he will stay next season
According to the Mirror, Salah has been promised a free transfer move to the Nou Camp next summer.
The report claims Barcelona are a major factor as to why the 29-year-old is stalling on a new deal despite telling close friends a few months ago that he was ready to extend.
Liverpool will be in a difficult position come pre-season as they'll have to decide whether to cash in on Salah or risk losing him for nothing.
Jurgen Klopp's side also look set to lose Sadio Mane this summer after he confirmed his desire to leave Liverpool this week.
Barcelona boss Xavi is said to be confident of landing Bayern Munich superstar Robert Lewandoswki and has also spoken to Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves.

In the lead up to the Champions League final, Salah reiterated his commitment to Liverpool and confirmed he'll remain with the Reds next season.
'I don't want to talk about the contract now, I'm staying next season for sure, that's clear,' he said.
Salah has been a major factor in Liverpool's success since joining from Roma for £37m in 2017.
He has scored 156 goals and assisted 63 in 254 appearances across all competitions, winning every possible honour with the Reds.
