Erling Haaland scored his 45th goal of the season as Manchester City claimed an emphatic 3-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The prolific Norwegian added to a stunning first-half strike from Rodri and a Bernardo Silva header as City took firm command of their last-eight tie in the first leg at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.
Haaland's 76th-minute goal, six minutes after Silva's, set a new record for the most scored in a single season by a Premier League player in all competitions.
City's victory over the six-time European champions - and manager Pep Guardiola's former club - sent out a strong statement as they look to win the coveted continental prize for the first time.
Here, Sportsmail's JACK GAUGHAN looks at some of the things you may have missed from the game.

Home comforts for Sane in Manchester
Turns out that despite leaving Manchester three years ago, Leroy Sane cannot stay away.
His partner, Candice, has been back in the North West recently with their children, with reports that the Bayern winger was actually ‘commuting’ to Munich.
It is a surprise that Sane still has his apartment in the city centre, but City fans hopeful of a potential return were left disappointed when the 27-year-old maintained his commitment to the Bundesliga champions.
‘Unfortunately, there was complex renovation work at my house, so it was not habitable,’ Sane said. ‘My wife and the kids returned to our old apartment in Manchester. But my wife hasn’t moved to Manchester permanently, as soon as the renovation in Munich is done, she will come back with our kids.'
Cancelo's show of respect for City
Speaking of familiar faces, on-loan Joao Cancelo’s slightly awkward reunion with Manchester City was made a little easier when he saw a friendly member of the security team.
The pair embraced like long-lost brothers and Cancelo also made a point of avoiding to step on the City crest as he walked through the tunnel at the Etihad. But the substitute was still booed when he came on.

Pre-match show gone in a gust of wind
It’s not often that wind stops play but that’s what happened to the majority of Manchester City’s pre-match preparations. The Etihad Stadium’s stage in the fanzone area, utilised for live bands and interviews with former players, was not deemed safe enough to use in the two hours before kick-off.
That part of the ground is set to be revamped as part of a £300million project, which will include a fully covered fan area so nights like these will be a thing of the past.
The weather can often ruin occasions in this part of the world and a huge tifo banner display, organised by supporters, also had to wait for another day as a result of the gusts.

Rodri's midfield masterclass
Rodri excelled in a double pivot alongside John Stones, as shown by his touch map, left.
The Spaniard was a presence all over the park, with more touches (79) than any other City player and topped off a superb display with his first Champions League goal.
His strike was well worth the wait, as he chopped on to his left foot and curled the ball past goalkeeper Yann Sommer.

Pep's Akanji tweak helps nullify Musiala's impact
Only one of City’s outfield players failed to chase Rodri in celebration of the spectacular opener. Manuel Akanji was called over to the bench by Pep Guardiola, who wanted the defender for a conflab with coaches Rodolfo Borrell and Enzo Maresca.
City’s staff seemed concerned by Akanji’s role in Jamal Musiala’s ability to influence proceedings. Although they were ahead, the hosts did find that Bayern were occupying dangerous spaces on the edge of their third which needed plugging.

Flick denied access to Etihad media room
Germany manager Hansi Flick, formerly of Bayern, wore a bewildered look at half-time. And the reason why soon became clear.
Although in the stadium on broadcasting duties for foreign television – and his obvious stature within the game – Flick was denied entry into the media room. No hot beverage or small pie, a result of some silly UEFA regulations.
Similar happened to Brede Hangeland at Tottenham recently and the ex-Fulham is said not to have taken that decision lying down.
