Germany shared a thrilling 3-3 draw with Ukraine in Bremen on Monday evening, with Joshua Kimmich's stoppage time penalty tying things up.
The hosts were marking their 1000th international match, and were hosting their war-torn opponents in a charity game at Werder Bremen's Weserstadion.
Niclas Fullkrug, who plays his club football for Werder Bremen, utilised home advantage to put Germany in front in the sixth minute. It was his seventh goal in as many games.
Viktor Tyshankov equalised in the 19th minute, when Ukraine seized on a loose ball in midfielder to counter-attack quickly.
Four minutes later, Chelsea's Mykhailo Mudryk launched a shot, which found the back of the net via former Blues defender Antonio Rudiger.

From 3-1 down, Kai Havertz halved the deficit seven minutes from time, slotting home his shot past Ukrainian keeper Anatoliy Trubin.
As the match crept into stoppage time, it looked like Ukraine would get their first win over Germany, but it was not to be as they conceded a late penalty.

Meanwhile, Ukraine travel to North Macedonia for their Group C clash on Friday, having lost their opening fixture of the campaign away to England in March.
