It's time to say goodbye...

And it's that time again.

There was some transfer action today, players wise, as it seems Crystal Palace are closing in on Daichi Kamada.

However, we still wait for Enzo Maresca to be confirmed as Chelsea manager. I feel like I've aged 10 years waiting for it.

Right, I'm going to shoot off. Thanks for your company throughout the day! Goodbye.

Benjamin Sesko 'says yes' to Arsenal transfer this summer

One of Europe's hot prospects is reportedly eyeing a move to Arsenal this summer.

Over the past couple of season's people have always asked the question if the Gunners need a new striker.

Well, it seems they are looking for one, and could Sesko be the man? It is being reported that Arsenal are keen on the £45m striker.

It will be interesting to see where this one goes.

Tottenham 'will put ELEVEN first-team players up for sale this summer'

Tottenham Hotspur are planning a huge summer clear-out, which could see up to 11 first-team players leave the club.

Manager Ange Postecoglou is looking to build on last season's fifth-placed finish, in which he secured Europa League football, and is now planning a massive overhaul in personnel.

He has said 'change has to happen', if the north London club are going to be able to compete across all fronts next season, including a top-four spot in the Premier League – and a return to the Champions League.

Anthony Martial 'set to be handed career lifeline with three clubs interested

Anthony Martial has announced his Man United exit and the French forward looks to have a number of options when it comes to his next club.

Martial took to social media earlier this week to confirm that he would be leaving Old Trafford, bringing his nine years at the club to an end.

Injuries have plagued the Frenchman over recent seasons but that has not deterred potential suitors, according to Sky Sports.

Antonio Conte closes in managerial return

The sometimes cantankerous former Chelsea and Tottenham boss has been out of the game since his stunning north London exit last March.

Conte finally looks set to make his managerial return. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Italian is 'closing in on final details' with Napoli, who endured a torrid title defence in 2023-24.

Will he return them to their former glories? Neapolitans will certainly have to get used to a different style of play.

Liverpool and Newcastle after Mbeumo

Do we have a battle on our hands for Bryan Mbeumo?

The Brentford star seems to have attracted the attention of both Liverpool and Newcastle United.

According to L'Equipe, the two Premier League sides are interested in bringing him away from the capital.

Mbeumo struggled with injury for a large part of last season, and instantly, Brentford's form dropped off a cliff.

As soon as he came back into the fold later on in the season, guess what? Yes, the Bees' form improved again.

While most people look at Ivan Toney as the pivotal man in the Brentford frontline, you can't forget how important Mbeumo is to them.

Will the interest amount to anything, though?

Martin's thoughts on Downes

Staying on the topic of Flynn Downes, I thought it would be a good idea to show you what the Southampton manager thinks of him.

Speaking in early May, Russell Martin said:

Flynn, yeah, I told you before I think he's the best in the league. This team has missed him so much when he hasn't played. We haven't been quite able to replace him when he has not played.

Should Flynn Downes return to Saints?

I am not surprised Saints fans want Flynn Downes back.

The midfielder was a rock for Southampton as they achieved promotion back to the top flight, he is a real star.

However, he was on loan from West Ham, and if I were the Hammers I'd want him to stay at the London Stadium.

But after the season he had on the south coast, should he stay there?

Who should Southampton buy upon promotion?

Well, I have had one fan answer this question before I even wrote this post.

Yesterday I asked fans who they would like to see their side sign, and a Southampton fan has given me his list, this should be interesting.

Southampton Fan: Would love Morgan Whittaker and/or Jack Clarke at Saints. Flynn Downes a must buy. Doughty for the left-back slot. Desperately need a new keeper too, perhaps Caoimhin Kelleher.

A very interesting list. Some already Premier League proven stars with some up and comers sprinkled in.

Do you agree, Saints fans?

Frank Lampard 'emerges as a SHOCK contender to succeed Vincent Kompany at Burnley'

More manager moves being made? Potentially.

When this many managers are leaving their posts, well, they have to be filled, don't they?

Vincent Kompany joining Bayern Munich has left a spot open at Burnley, and The Athletic are suggesting Frank Lampard could be in for the role.

Lampard does need a way back into management, and this could be the perfect role for him.

Do you think it would be a good move by the Clarets?

Maresca announcement predictions coming in...

Right, we already have a few guesses.

Everyone seems to be thinking a little differently, but one fan has agreed with me, which makes me feel good...

There has been a shout for 3pm, 1.30pm and another for 4pm.

Keep them coming in, you never know, it could be announced very soon.

Everton 'interested in bringing Barkley back'

While they are driving a hard bargain to other clubs, they are also in the market for themselves.

before I tell you this stroy, just imagine Eminem rapping 'Guess who's back?'

It's being reported that the Toffees are interested in bringing back a familiar face, Ross Barkley

The 30-year-old is currently at Luton Town but is believed to be on the verge of re-joining Aston Villa.

While a deal looks unlikely for the Toffees, it would be a real throwback to see Barkley in a blue shirt.

Everton will NOT be bullied into selling their key stars for cut-price deals

Manchester United, this story may be a message to you.

The Red Devils are rumoured to be seeking a cut price deal with Everton of £40m for star centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite.

Well, the Toffees aren't having any of it. They want what they think they deserve for the likes of Branthwaite, and other stars.

Jobe Bellingham a wanted man

This is no surprise, is it?

Jobe Bellingham, younger brother of Jude, is attracting a lot of attention from Premier League clubs.

Crystal Palace have admired the midfielder for a long time, but as Mail Sport's Sami Mokbel shared, nothing is advanced yet.

They could face competition for his signature from Brentford, according to the Athletic.

Jobe is currently a mainstay in the Sunderland midfield after his move their last summer, and he has been seriously impressive.

He netted seven goals in 45 Championship appearances last term, only missing a single match. Hi stats don't tell the half of it, though.

So, we may see a Bellingham in the Premier League soon, but it's not Jude.

Who is Daichi Kamada?

Crystal Palace fans, want to get to know who you are set to sign?

Your manager, Oliver Glasner, certainly knows who Daichi Kamada is, he was his boss for two years at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Kamada was a mainstay in Glasner's side, proving pivotal en route to their 2022 Europa League triumph.

Kamada is mainly deployed as an attacking midfielder. He is creative, aggressive with the press, and loves a big goal.

He is set to join from Lazio where he spent last season after six years at Frankfurt. He only netted twice in 38 games for the Italian side, and is seemingly looking to reunited with his former boss.

Glasner does know how to get the best out of him.

Mail Sport's Sami Mokbel coming in clutch with transfer news... nothing new.

Crystal Palace fans, you must be excited about this one. Mail Sport understands Daichi Kamada is set to arrive from Lazio.

In addition, Palace are still sniffing around Jobe Bellingham, but nothing new to report on that.

It's great to see some transfer activity!

Tottenham 'will put ELEVEN first-team players up for sale'

There could be a mass exodus on the way at Tottenham...

After Spurs' poor end to last season Ange Postecoglou is looking to re-build once again this summer.

According to the Evening Standard, he is willing to let up to 11 first-team stars leave the club this summer.

I guess it would free up a pot of money, I wonder what plans Ange has in store.

It could be a fascinating summer.

Would Rodrygo be a good move for City?

I'm going to answer my own question, yes.

Rodrygo has been exceptional since he arrived at Real Madrid as a youngster, and he is versatile across the front three.

I understand Manchester City have a lot of talent on the left, but Rodrygo's versatility would be a huge asset to them, let alone his talent.

This deal may not happen as Rodrygo has iterated his desire to stay in Madrd in the past.

However, if City can pry him away, it would be a great move.

What do you think?

Man City 'eye move for Real Madrid star Rodrygo this summer'

Does Kylian Mbappe's potential arrival at Real Madrid pave the way for Rodrygo to leave.

The speculation has begun that the Brazilian winger could be on his way to City with Mbappe coming through the door at Los Blancos.

It could be a tricky one, as City already have a lot of players on the left-hand side, such as Jack Grealish, Jeremy Doku, and sometimes even Phil Foden when he is not central.

However, Pep Guardiola always knows what to do, and if Rodrygo arrives in Manchester, he will just get better, and better.

Is Kylian Mbappe's move to Real Madrid imminent?

It's a move that has been talked about for years, and we know that Mbappe is on the verge of joining Los Blancos, it's just a waiting game now.

Mbappe confirmed he would be leaving PSG at the end of the season months after he had reportedly agreed a deal to join Madrid this summer on a free.

Sow, when will it be confirmed? Who knows, it may be today, it may be tomorrow.

Well, it isn't a done deal yet.

What a way to start the morning.

It looks like 'The Special One' is returning to the game as he has reportedly agreed a two-year deal to become Fenerbahce boss.

Mourinho has been out of the game since being sacked by Roma in January, but he is never away for too long, is he?

I wonder what he will say in his first press-conference, if he does join that is.
