Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery has heaped praised on Julian Draxler after the German capped off his debut with a goal.
The 23-year-old, who sealed his £34million move from Wolfsburg last Tuesday, came on as a substitute in the 7-0 thrashing over Bastia in Saturday's French Cup clash.
Draxler completed the rout, sprinting onto a defence-splitting pass from winger Hatem Ben Arfa, holding off a defender and drawing the goalkeeper off his line before smoothly sending the ball into the top right corner from a narrow angle.

And his new manager, Emery, was pleased with the performances of Draxler and fellow second-half substitute Angel di Maria.
He said: 'Julian played well. It is important he scored on his debut. That will give him confidence.'
He told Eurosport 2: 'The most important thing is that the team won. At home, the team has confidence and the ability to play well, which helps results.
'When we scored the third goal, we continued to press. The players who came on, like Draxler and Angel di Maria, had the motivation to play well and they scored.'

Emery wasn't the only one to be impressed with the new signing, with Thiago Motta, who scored PSG's fourth goal on Saturday, expecting Draxler to become a key part of the squad at Parc des Princes.
'He has fit in well,' he said. 'He is a very nice guy. He has joined a team with heightened ambitions.
'He is also naturally ambitious and wants to play in the biggest matches. I am sure he will help us raise our game.'
