'I'm a little woo woo off that gas': Patrick van Aanholt insists 'I'm aite' after he was left needing oxygen on the pitch following sickening fall in collision with Anthony Martial for Manchester United's second goal

Patrick van Aanholt has assured fans that he is alright after it had looked as if he had seriously injured himself in a sickening fall following a collision with Anthony Martial on Thursday night.
Crystal Palace lost 2-0 to Manchester United at Selhurst Park, Marcus Rashford and Martial getting the goals either side of half-time.
And it was the aftermath of the second goal that had viewers concerned.

Van Aanholt landed on his shoulder after attempting to challenge Martial, tumbling over the striker as he shot.
The defender required oxygen and a stretcher following the collision and was spotted at the end of the match with a sling around his right arm.
And he took to Twitter shortly after the game to give fans an update, admitting he was still a little light-headed from the treatment he had received.
'Boys put in a strong game, decisions against us but that's football,' he wrote.

'Love to my football community especially Palace & MUFC fans. I'm a little woo woo off that gas but I'm aite.'
Boss Roy Hodgson said of the injury: 'We've had bad luck with defenders, it's testing are reserves in that respect.
'Patrick [van Aanholt] has hardly missed a game and I don't know how long it takes to mend a dislocated shoulder but I can only hope he comes back again next season.'
