Everton are in talks over a move for Porto winger Luis Diaz that could see James Rodriguez go the opposite way.
The 24-year old Diaz has also been followed closely by Leicester City and Tottenham after a stand out season in Portugal and impressed for Colombia at the recent Copa America scoring four goals and finishing as leading scorer with Lionel Messi.
He is valued around £30million but Everton hope the inclusion of former Porto midfielder James on a season loan can help reduce the fee.

Rodriguez had a good start to his Everton career but his career has stalled this year
Rafa Benitez has made it clear that James does not figure in his plans with the 30-year old Colombian cutting a disgruntled figure following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid, showing no desire to stay at Everton.
Everton are also looking to sell striker Moise Kean back to Juventus but Benitez said Everton do not intend to sell Richarlison to Paris St Germain.
The French side are considering the Brazilian as an option to replace Kylian Mbappe who is the subject of a £154m bid from Real Madrid.

Richarlison would be valued at over £100m by Everton and Benitez sees him as intrinsic to his plans.
Kean’s agent Mino Raiola was in Turin on Thursday as he tries to resolve the young striker’s return to Italy.
