YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul insists he would have to be offered around $35million (£26m) just to consider stepping in the hexagon with UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Nurmagomedov, who retired in 2020 with an MMA record of 29-0 but has since launched his own fighting organisation, Eagle FC, claimed he had made an offer to Paul after he had stated his desire to fight in MMA.
'We offered him, we offered him (a contract),' Nurmagomedov told reporters, as reported by MMA Junkie. 'Now we're waiting on his answer. If he wants, we're here.'

But Paul, 25, denied he had been offered a contract to face Khabib, 33.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour via MMA Fighting, he explained: 'There is [interest to do MMA] and not in the near future but in the medium term. I would need to practice my kicks and a little more on the jiu-jitsu side for like two years, maybe two and a half years before I would do that.
'Unless the money was really right but no one's brought anything to the table that's interesting enough.

Nurmagomedov claimed he had offered Paul a contract to fight in his organisation Eagle FC
'Khabib [Nurmagomedov] said, 'We offered him a deal' – it's not true. They never offered me anything. Eagle FC has never even done an event. Not to hate on anything they're doing but I would need more than what I make in boxing to risk going into MMA right now.
'People would have to come $25, $35 million dollars to just start the conversation with me.
'I would fight Khabib in MMA if they wanted to make that offer,' he added. 'Cause that would be exciting. That would excite me, especially if I had more time to train.

'That would be a massive fight. Probably a million, 2 million pay-per-view buys and all I would have to do is work on my wrestling skills. Cause I could outstrike him standing up.'
Paul also revealed he would have no problem with facing boxing legend Mike Tyson in a bout – but there were no talks at present.
'It's not real. I would fight him, though, but there were never any discussions about that,' he added. 'He said it himself, I saw him in St Barts on New Year's and it was very cordial. We took a picture together… he's a friend.
'If we were to fight, it would be weird. I don't know if I'd want that but there have been no discussions.'
