Marcus Jordan was recently dating the ex-wife of Michael's former teammate Scottie Pippen, Larissa Pippen, who is 17 years older than Marcus.

They were rumored to have split in February but there have since been reports that they are trying to reignite their relationship.

Jordan, worth an estimated $3.2billion, was reportedly planning to compete in a fishing tournament in North Carolina this weekend.

He had apparently purchased a new 82-foot yacht, worth an estimated $15million, for the event.

Jordan also released a statement on the passing of Jerry West earlier this week - the Lakers legend whose silhouette is the NBA logo.

Jordan said: 'I am so deeply saddened at the news of Jerry's passing. He was truly a friend and a mentor, like an older brother to me.

'I valued his friendship and knowledge. I always wished I could have played against him as a competitor but the more I came to know him, I wished I had been his teammate.

'I admired his basketball insights and he and I Shared many similarities to how we approached the game. He will be forever missed.

'My condolences to his wife, Karen, and his son. Rest in peace, Logo. Michael Jordan.'
