Josh Brolin takes a dip in a cold tub after showing off his workout routine as he prepares to reprise his role as Gurney Halleck in Dune: Part Two
Josh Brolin shared an insight into his workout routine for the upcoming sequel to Dune with a video that was shared to his Instagram account on Thursday.
The 54-year-old performer was seen while training his body in preparation for the start of production on the forthcoming feature, with part of his routine including a dip in a cold tub.
The actor, who will reprise his role as Gurney Halleck in the science-fiction epic film, is set to be joined by performers such as Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya and Austin Butler.

Brolin only wore a pair of black-and-white athletic shorts while working out.
The performer wrote that his routine partially consisted of '20 squats, 20 dips, 20 Push ups in the sauna without rest-5 rounds.'
The Avengers: Infinity War star also pointed out that his set included a '36 degree cold plunge.'
He made a humorous reference to Dune in his post's captions, as he wrote that his routine required him to consume 'tons and tons of spice.'

The original Dune feature previously premiered on the HBO Max streaming service last year.
The movie was based on Frank Herbert's novel of the same name, which was originally published in 1965.
The book was previously adapted into a film by David Lynch in 1984, which failed commercially and critically.
Dune, which was directed and co-written by Denis Villeneuve, was well-received by both critics and fans upon its release.

Development on the sequel to the feature began during the production of the first movie.
Production of the follow-up was previously contingent on the success of the original flick.
The sequel was officially given a green light by Warner Bros. executives in September of last year.
Much of the cast from the first film, which also includes performers such as Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgard and Dave Bautista, will return for the second movie.
