From Bebe Rexha being hit by a mobile phone to Pink dodging a woman's ashes: How dangerous craze which sees music fans hurl odd projectiles at popstars during concerts culminated in Adele's on-stage meltdown
- Items thrown on stage include a teddy bear, a lemon, flowers - and human ashes
A dangerous craze has seen artists on stage getting pelted with objects during their performances - including a phone, a teddy bear, a bunch of flowers and a fan's dead mother's ashes.
The trend - which dates back decades but appears to have seen a recent spurt - saw Bebe Rexha last month being hit with a phone to the face.
This was followed by a fan throwing her mother's ashes on stage at Pink's concert - culminating in Adele pausing her recent Las Vegas show to slam the acts.
Adele jokingly 'dared' the audience to throw something at her. The singer, 35, said: 'Have you noticed how people are, like, forgetting f**king show etiquette at the moment?
'Throwing s**t on stage, have you seen them? I f**king dare you, I dare you throw something at me, I'll f**king kill you.'
She then took aim with her t-shirt cannon and fired it into the crowd before telling them to 'stop throwing things at the artist', then started laughing and joked that she 'can shoot things at the audience'.

Last month singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha, 33, was playing a concert at The Rooftop at Pier 17 on her Best F'n Night Of My Life tour when she was struck in the face by a phone.
As she was facing the audience, a phone was seen careening in from the crowd and hitting her directly in the face.
After a moment of shock, the Grammy-nominated singer fell to her knees with her head down as multiple crew members in the wings rushed to her aid.
In video which surfaced after the incident, the man is found by security who pull him out of the crowd and over the barrier.
Meanwhile, fans shouted 'a**hole' and 'that is assault' as he was taken away.
The alleged phone thrower faces misdemeanor charges of harassment and assault.

Pink, 42, recently received a number of items on stage with a fan even throwing her mother's ashes.
She was singing her song Perfect when she noticed the wheel of Brie De Meaux, a French cheese. The fan had splashed the cash on the gift, which can retail between £60 - £100+ for a 3kg block.
Pink gave an air hug and said her thanks before continuing on with the song.
The singer also received a number of other gifts from her loyal fans at her two American Express Presents BST Hyde Park shows including teddy bears, flowers and artwork.
But she was startled when she was handed a pouch of cremated remains and asked the member of the audience to clarify it was their mum's remains – before saying: 'I don't know how to feel about that.'
After walking back up to the stage from the central walkway, Pink added: 'I have to say that was a first.'

Last month Harry Styles was smacked in the face by a bunch of flowers during a gig in Cardiff.
The popstar, 29, had just finished his penultimate UK date at Cardiff's Principality Stadium as part of his sold out Love On Tour concerts when the flowers came soaring across the sky after being thrown by a fan in the audience.
The pink flowers pelted him in the face as he skipped down some stairs and turned to the crowd to greet them.
Harry was understandably flustered by the incident, which was captured by a fan filming the star from the audience.
He was seen rubbing his face in shock after being hit, but shook it off and carried on.
Harry Styles was also hit in the eye by a Skittle after a fan threw a handful of the sweets at the stage during a concert at The Forum in Los Angeles in November.
The singer clutched his eye in a video taken of the moment by a fan after they were launched towards him during a performance of his song, Kiwi.
Harry fans angrily reacted to the moment and claimed the star could have gone blind following the potentially-dangerous incident.
