Damian Lewis goes shirtless in Saint Tropez as actor attempts to build a tan during sunshine break with girlfriend Alison Mosshart
Damian Lewis was still striving for a suntan on Tuesday as he peeled off his shirt during a trip to the beach in Saint Tropez.
The actor and musician is enjoying a romantic break in the south-of-France with current girlfriend Alison Mosshart, but he appeared to be alone while sunbathing outside popular coastal venue Club 55.
Dressed in a pair of blue beach shorts, flame-haired Lewis, 52, confirmed his search for a bronzed tan is ongoing as he strolled the picturesque coastline.
He was venturing out after an earlier appearance with Mosshart, during which they shared a kiss while swimming in the Mediterranean.
The couple were first spotted together in the summer of 2022, with Mosshart's mother Vivian giving the relationship her seal of approval soon after.

She told MailOnline: 'They have mutual friends. I don't know exactly how they met but I'm fine with it. If she's happy, we are happy.'
Romance blossomed a year after Helen McCrory, Lewis' wife of 14 years, tragically passed away after a secret battle with breast cancer.
When McCrory died in April 2021, Lewis revealed how his late wife had urged him to find love again, telling him and their son and daughter that she wanted 'Daddy to have lots of girlfriends.'
While Lewis appears to be happily in love, he was recently mocked on social media for his toe-curling rendition of the national anthem at the British Grand Prix.
The actor, who released his debut album Mission Creep in June, was blasted for trying to impersonate Elvis during his performance on the Silverstone grid on July 9.
Lewis performed with his band live in the paddock and later sang the national anthem alongside a saxophonist.
Social media soon erupted with comments about the unique way that Lewis was singing God Save The King, with one brutally posting that he had simply 'butchered' it.
Ahead of his performance, the actor-turned-singer said: 'Never in a million years did I think I'd be singing the national anthem or playing a gig with my band at the British Grand Prix.
Don't mind me: Lewis later pulled on a blue summer shirt as temperatures soared in Cannes
Quirky: The actor and musician rounded off his look with a raffish hat as he made an appearance at the popular Club 55
In good company: Lewis was joined by a group of friends, but Mosshart was absent during his latest public appearance
'It's so special, with a unique festival atmosphere and I'm honoured to have been asked.'
After releasing his debut album, Lewis admitted he's still scarred from his teenage attempts at music-making with pals at Eton College.
He said: 'I remember a school assembly where they played one of our songs over the tannoy.
'A good friend of mine cackled so loudly, so ceaselessly throughout the song that everyone else started laughing as well and I just sat there, in the middle of the audience, stuck in some dystopic nightmare. It rocked me, actually.'
Don't mind me: But the actor was hard to miss courtesy of his peaked hat on Tuesday
New chapter: With the support of musician Mosshart, Lewis has attempted to carve out a second career in music
