Love Island Australia star Phoebe Spiller reveals she's 'the third wheel' in a very surprising friendship between her current boyfriend Mitch and ex Trent Woolman
Love Island Australia veteran Phoebe Spiller has revealed a surprising connection between her reality star ex Trent Woolman and her current partner Mitch Elliot.
The fashion student, 25, shared a video to TikTok revealing she went to an event with Mitch, 26, and was shocked to find her ex - current Love Island star Trent - there.
But to her surprise, Trent, 25, and Mitch quickly hit it off and she filmed them happily chatting to each other while she was left drinking by herself.
'They haven't left each other's side all night. Cheers to being the third wheel,' she wrote next to the footage.
Phoebe starred on Love Island Australia last year and became involved with her co-star Mitch, who she is currently dating.
Meanwhile, Trent, who grew up in regional Victoria, is starring on the latest series of Love Island Australia, which premiered on Monday evening.
Coincidentally, he dated Phoebe several years ago, well before they both began their stints on reality TV.
'I dated well... not dated but we were on and off for a couple of years, Phoebe from last year and I. I thought I was gonna marry that girl so I was pretty disappointed to see her on the show last year,' Trent told 9Now.

Love Island Australia producers have promised fans this year's season will be raunchier than ever.
They have introduced a new 'consent' system to keep lusty islanders in check when jumping into bed together.
In a world first, Love Island Australia's villa in Majorca, Spain, will feature a small love-heart shaped 'Consent Heart' button next to every bed this year, allowing couples to announce they are both comfortable with whatever is going on between the sheets.
'They haven't left each other's side all night. Cheers to being the third wheel,' Phoebe wrote next to the footage
Speaking to TV Tonight, Executive Producer Alex Mavroidakis from ITV Studios Australia explained that the Consent Heart emits infrared light, meaning it will only be visible to producers and not contestants.
'Only if both buttons are pushed, and if the heart is complete in infrared, are you allowed to kiss, touch, do everything with each other,' he explained.
'If anyone starts kissing or touching each other in bed, producers will physically walk into the bedroom and tell them to switch their Consent Heart on. Only at that point are they both consenting adults and we leave them alone.'
Host Sophie Monk recently gave a tour of this year's Love Island Australia's Majorca villa, which features a 'fancy' new fire pit, complete with colourful upholstery.
