Brosnahan opened up about the ending of the show during an interview with Entertainment Tonight and stated that she never felt as if the project's writers would leave the program's fans unsatisfied.
'I didn't have a doubt that Amy and [executive producer Daniel Palladino] would figure out how to land the plane. I love that final set so much,' she said.
The actress went on to speak about where her character ended up after the decades covered on the program.
'It ends with her being unapologetic for her ambition and encouraging other people to find the courage to make their own lives...It leaves just enough questions hanging in the air,' she stated.
