Timothee Chalamet is Bob Dylan and Edward Norton is Pete Seeger as they film A Complete Unknown outside a store in New York City
Timothée Chalamet and Edward Norton were pictured working on the New York City set of the upcoming biographical feature A Complete Unknown on Tuesday morning.
The performers remained in character with Chalamet, 28, as folk and rock icon Bob Dylan and Norton, 54, as fellow folk singer Pete Seeger.
They were outside a store as they shot their scenes for the James Mangold-directed film.
The 28-year-old Dune star — who was not featured in the season five premiere of The Kardashians at his girlfriend Kylie Jenner's request — was costumed in a jet-black jacket that was paired with matching trousers.
Chalamet completed his look for the day with a striped T-shirt, sunglasses and leather boots.

The 28-year-old actor was costumed in a jet-black jacket that was paired with matching trousers before he later underwent a costume change and began filming on a different set
For the shoot, Chalamet had his own dark brown locks styled in the music icon's signature long, voluminous curly hair.
At one point, he was seen sitting on a vintage motorcycle, which looked identical to Dylan's Triumph Speed Tiger T100 SR he was riding when he had an accident near Woodstock, New York in 1966.
At one point, Chalamet channeled the musician's relaxed and cool demeanor as he wandered around a busy set with the arm of his sunglasses in his mouth.
He filmed multiple takes of the scene with Norton in Hoboken, New Jersey which depicted the two singer-songwriters meeting in the doorway of a '60s-replicated shop.
For their shoot, Norton wore a brown plaid zip-up jacket over a windowpane-checkered green shirt.
He also sported light gray dress pants and light brown, suede shoes.
Chalamet had dark circles drawn on under his eyes to imitate Dylan's weary artist look.
Besides having his hair and makeup done to mirror young Bob Dylan's look, Chalamet also showed off longer and thicker sideburns than usual.

A Complete Unknown is based on Elijah Wald's book Dylan Goes Electric! Newport, Seeger, Dylan, and the Night That Split the Sixties, which was originally published in 2015
The movie is centered on a young Dylan as he moves from the New York City-based folk scene into an electrified and controversial sound

The Dune actor later put on his sunglasses for another shot of him grabbing the door handle and walking outside.
At a different time, Chalamet was seen strolling down a busy city street with vintage cars and bike props set up to replicate the '60s urban area where the folk icon found his early music career taking off.
For a different scene, Chalamet wore the same look and was seen walking down the street with a young actress grinning as she approached him.
During the shoot, she swooned over him and ran her hands down his chest.
He appeared surprised at the close proximity of the actress — who was portraying an unspecified role, wearing a striped mod dress with voluminous hair.
At one point, she was seen touching Chalamet's face and pulling him close as he grabbed her arm.
Then, Norton as Seeger walked into the scene. Upon his entry, the touchy-feely woman was seen walking away and Norton was seen patting Chalamet's back.
They chatted at the same spot and Chalamet pulled out a pack of cigarettes.

Development on the feature was publicly revealed in 2020, when Mangold and Chalamet signed on to direct and star in the film, respectively.
In addition to directing the movie, the filmmaker also co-wrote its script alongside Jay Cocks.
A Complete Unknown will also feature Elle Fanning, Monica Barbaro and Boyd Holbrook.
Although Benedict Cumberbatch was initially set to portray Seeger, he ultimately dropped out of the project and was replaced by Norton.
Although the start of production on the feature was delayed by the onset of the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike, its crew began working on the film this past March.
Mangold spoke about A Complete Unknown during an episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast and revealed that Dylan himself gave notes on the film's script.

'I've spent several, wonderfully charming, days in his company, just one-on-one, talking to him. I have a script that's personally annotated by him and treasured by me,' he said.
The filmmaker went on to speak about how he felt the film would deeply resonate with viewers.
'It all has tremendous relevance even now because of the way we are all so tribalized with rules about what our music should be, about what our rules are, how we speak, how we express ourselves,' he said.
A Complete Unknown's release date is currently being kept under wraps.
