Eleanor Tomlinson recounted a very awkward run in with Star Wars legend during her appearance on The One Show on Wednesday.

The actress, who appeared on the show alongside her Outlaws co-star Stephen Merchant, confessed she had never seen the sci-fi franchise and found herself in a very awkward situation recently.

Also joined by the stars of the new Star Wars series Amandla Stenberg and Dafne Keen, Eleanor confessed: 'I haven't seen Star Wars.'

She then revealed her embarrassing story as she admitted she did not recognise Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill.

'So I did a motion capture game recently and I didn't see the call sheet before I was called in so I didn't know who was going to be there.
