Dakota Johnson dons two stylish outfits as she films The Materialists with hunky co-stars Chris Evans and Eddie Cahill in New York City

Dakota Johnson was spotted on the set of her new rom-com The Materialists with co-stars Chris Evans and Eddie Cahill on Monday.

The 34-year-old Hollywood fixture — who's been seen working on the New York City film set in recent weeks — wore a black dress with a pink floral print for one scene.

In another instance she wore a black mini skirt and blazer with subtle pinstripes.

For his scenes with the 50 Shades of Grey star, 42-year-old Chris was clad in a light gray button-up shirt and light was jeans.

Meanwhile, Cahill, 46, looked smart in a dark suit teamed with a white shirt as he filmed opposite Dakota.

Sitting on a park bench next to Chris, Dakota tied a gray sweatshirt around her waist.

Her sundress, sleeveless and plunging, was balanced with a pair of black and white Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers.

The movie star wore hoop earrings and her long, straight, light brown hair fell around her face with soft bangs.

Her face was lightly made up to flatter her features and the look was finished with a matte, mauve hue on her pout.

Chris looked handsome with his dark hair neatly cut above his ears and his full beard neatly trimmed.

According to Deadline, Materialists follows a matchmaker who balances her relationship with a wealthy man with her lingering feelings for her waiter-actor ex-boyfriend.

The cast also includes Marin Ireland, Zoe Winters and Dasha Nekrasova.

Speaking with Bustle earlier this year, Dakota said she was not surprised her movie Madame Web bombed at the box office.

'Unfortunately, I'm not surprised that this has gone down the way it has,' she said.

'But it was definitely an experience for me to make that movie. I had never done anything like it before. I probably will never do anything like it again, because I don't make sense in that world. And I know that now.'

She continued: 'Sometimes in this industry, you sign on to something, and it's one thing and then as you're making it, it becomes a completely different thing, and you're like, "Wait, what?"

'But it was a real learning experience, and of course it’s not nice to be a part of something that's ripped to shreds, but I can't say that I don’t understand.'

The $80 million production was slammed by critics and viewers alike following its release on Valentine's Day.

Dakota continued in her rant: 'It's so hard to get movies made, and in these big movies that get made — and it's even starting to happen with the little ones which is what’s really freaking me out — decisions are being made by committees, and art does not do well when it's made by committees.'

She upset her Sony production team when she made the disparaging remarks about the superhero film's lackluster performance.

'Lots of people at Sony are questioning her star power, and how she reacted to this failure will likely come back to haunt her,' an insider told DailyMail.com.

By early March Madame Web had grossed a meager $40 million at the domestic box office and taking in a measly $15.1 million during its opening weekend.
