When asked wether she used a surrogate the model replied: 'I did. I hope for a better world for my children. They are 110 per cent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.'
Her daughters arrival sparked widespread speculation that she used a surrogate, a popular approach among older celebrity mothers, because she was not spotted with an obvious baby bump in the months leading up to the birth.
Naomi also spoke of her concern that younger generations are not interested in having children and she insisted parenthood is always 'worth it', no matter how difficult the circumstances.
Saying: 'I have heard a lot of young girls saying that it is too expensive to have children and they may not want them, and I have said, "You will change your mind. You will want to be a mum"'.
'I understand economically it is tough. But my mum had nothing and she made it work. It's worth it. It is so amazing'.
She continued: 'We have to depend on the younger generation to change this world. I trust my children more than us to do the right thing.'
Elsewhere in the interview she revealed that she won't let her daughter go into the world of work at 15 like she did, after starting her own career in her teenage years when she did her first cover shoot.
The beauty, who was whisked abroad to model in her first photoshoot for Elle in New Orleans aged 15, said she would be uncomfortable with her now two-year-old to start working so young.

She has also been spotted wearing an enormous diamond ring.
However a dear friend of Naomi told the Mail: 'It isn't a romance - all her friends know that he is actually in love with another model and in a settled relationship with them. Naomi is single and focuses on her children and her sobriety.'
The British star was previously engaged to U2 bassist Adam Clayton in 1993, and was then also engaged to Italian businessman Flavio Briatore before they split in 2002.

Naomi was last in a relationship with rapper Skepta in 2018 but enjoyed a fling with One Direction's Liam Payne the following year.
She has also enjoyed high-profile relationships with the likes of Diddy, Robert De Niro, Gerard Butler, Terrence Howard, Mike Tyson and Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin over the years.
Although she is notoriously private about her love life, the star has previously stated she is 'on good terms' with her exes and is not known to be dating anyone at present.
In a rare interview about her love life in 2021, Naomi said: 'The sacrifice is really finding that soulmate who will understand you.
'It’s really like you feel if they look at you as if you’re strong . . . I’m strong, but I’m also sensitive. I know that in relationships I have to compromise.'
Elsewhere the model revealed the struggle to be included as a black model at the beginning of her career, but said she is 'not a victim'.
She said: 'I'm not a victim. I do not identify with that word. I won't say I struggled. Everyone's life has strife in some way, but 'victim' is not in my vocab. I don't want people to feel sorry for me. I want to stay in charge.
'I was lucky I got together with other black models. Being able to speak about how I felt as a black woman and model was very important for me and helped me to share my feelings. I wasn't alone — that was a huge factor and I hope I help the next generation.'
She admitted that she has been in many rooms as the only person of colour but she never let it deter her.

The model went onto say when she worked in New York at the beginning of her career she wasn't even able to hail a cab, saying American supermodel Christy Turlington used to have to help her.
The beauty has previously claimed she continues to face prejudice in the fashion industry to this day.
In 2019, the Streatham-born beauty said she was 'shocked' when a recent campaign she starred in was rejected in an Asian country - because of the colour of her skin.
Reflecting on how she turned the negative experience as a positive, she revealed to The Mirror: 'It keeps things in perspective that the work is never done. That's why I don't give up.'
The statuesque star also said she has turned down offers to walk in Paris Fashion Week shows as a matter of principle due to particular fashion houses lacking ethnically diverse models.
The stunner shared: 'I didn't feel the message was right. Diversity has to be balanced across the board for all races. It's not about the money.'
'People forget that models are self-employed. It was insulting to take that for my race.'
Naomi was previously asked if she had seen progress in diversity. The model commented: 'I see progress yes, as always more focus to be had.'
She was full of praise for Ghanaian-born Edward Enninful, the first male editor of British Vogue, saying: 'Edward, what he has done in this year has been exceptional, and I'm not being biased.'
