Meghan Trainor revealed on Monday's episode of This Morning that she didn't know who Brooklyn Beckham was when she first met him on a double date. 

The pop star, 30, who is currently promoting her new album Timeless -  revealed Brooklyn, 25, set up the first date with her now husband, actor Daryl Sabara, 32. 

Chatting to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, she explained she met her husband on a blind double date set up by Brooklyn and his now ex-girlfriend Chloe Grace.

She said: 'I didn't who he was, I had no idea because I'm lame.' 

Ben replied shocked: 'What?! His mum is a Spice Girl.'

She commented that she realised he must be famous because of all the attnention he was getting.  

The All About That Bass singer also added that Brooklyn's famous mum Victoria, 50, has since given her a shirt from her clothing line.

Brooklyn and Hollywood star Chloe, 27, firstly met at a SoulCycle class in Los Angeles in 2014.

They went through a first break-up but The Equalizer actress later shared the news that they had rekindled their romance in April 2016.

Meghan explained that two months later, Chloe set Meghan up with Daryl after she told her that she 'really wanted to meet a good guy.'

The now husband and wife enjoyed a double bowling date with Chloe and Brooklyn who broke up in September 2016.

Since then, Meghan and Daryl have been going stronger than ever with the Spy Kids actor proposing in December 2017 and tied the knot a year later.

She said: 'We are like the most in love couple, ever.'

They share son Riley, three, and Barry Bruce, who they welcomed in July last year.

During her lengthy chat on the daytime TV show, Meghan discussed many things including writing for famous faces, touring with her kids, and the meaning behind her album Timeless.

She said: 'I have written some country songs, I have written for J-LO, Michael buble, john legend I did his Christmas song. I am trying to write for Rita Ora. Hi, I love you!,' she quipped thrilled.

The songwriter fondly recalled her 2014 banger All About Bass is something 'everyone is still dancing to' these days and wants all her songs 'to feel like that'.

'There is a ballad called Timeless and it's my love song to my babies,' she told.

'My little boy Riley would want to sit it after bath-time every night. He would say: 'Can we sing timeless?''

As she prepares to take on her upcoming tour, she confirmed her children will be with her the whole time.

'Riley will love it because he loves buses. My little Barry is going to learn how to walk while on tour,' Meghan said proudly.
