Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds made a cheeky appeal to The Bachelorette viewers while promoting Deadpool & Wolverine.

The comedic duo have been leaving fans in stitches with their amusing antics on the press tour for the superhero film.

And they didn't disappoint with their latest promotional video as Hugh, 55, and Ryan, 47, made a tongue-in-cheek plea to viewers of The Bachelor franchise.

Hugh tried to put his best flirty attitude forward as the pair attempted to convince women why the Marvel film is the ideal date night watch.

The video kicked off with Hugh, dressed as Wolverine, lounging on a couch beside a bouquet of red roses and a drink as he tried to entice viewers.

However, he quickly lost patience with the amusing ploy as he told Ryan: 'I'm not doing either of those,' before trying to walk out.

But Ryan, embodying his iconic Deadpool character, tried to persuade him by saying: 'You're explaining to Bachelor nation why our movie is the perfect date movie while holding this [rose].'

'Oh I love the smell of sunflowers,' he added in an amusing faux-pas while sniffing the red rose.

However, when Hugh remained unconvinced, Ryan outlined his co-star's importance to the marketing of their film, describing Hugh as 'a confident, powerful person' before pointing out that '18 to 49-year-old women are a super important demo for us.'

Rolling his eyes and turning his back on the camera, Hugh then grumbled: 'Geez, I'm out of here.'

Ryan then took over the promotion duties and feigned giving a spiel about the hotly-awaited movie all while urging the cameraman to zoom in on Hugh's behind.

'Hey nation, Deadpool here again to tell you that our movie has everything you love,' he said.

'We really zoom in to complex relationship dynamics, there's ample amounts of cheeky humour and in the end, I'm not going to lie, it was quite a payday for us.'

Hugh then said: 'You promised me The Bachelorette was coming.'

But Ryan reassured him: 'I tell you, you are delivering,' in a sly reference to the camera zooming in on his physique.

Their upcoming superhero film is slated for release on July 26, and the co-stars have been busy travelling around the globe promoting the epic.

Ryan's wife Blake Lively recently poked fun at the duo's promotional tour as she hilariously compared it to Spring Break.

The Gossip Girl actress, 36, took to her Instagram Stories to share a clip of Ryan and Hugh playing with water guns onstage at the 2024 Waterbomb Festival in Seoul, South Korea.

'When he tells you he's going to work and then you see him on MTV Spring Break,' she hilariously captioned the video, which showed the close friends spraying the crowd with water.

She also humorously suggested that their new film should be titled Boys Gone Wild: A Deadpool and Wolverine Story instead, referring to their ongoing antics on the press tour.
