Just when the Islanders thought they had seen enough drama for one week, Love Island bosses have reportedly staged a mass dumping from the villa.
Just a day after a double departure saw Wil Anderson and Uma Jammeh exit the villa, sources claim that viewers should prepare to say goodbye to even more fan favourites in upcoming scenes.
The abode of love was nearly overflowing in recent days as 17 people are still in the running for the final, which is just weeks away.
Every single spare bed was taken and first-day couples such as Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel have had to make use of the day beds in the garden.
After Wil Anderson and Uma Jammeh's emotional departure on Tuesday, show executives swung the axe and chopped a number of fan favourites from the running, according to the Sun.

A source told the publication: 'Logistically there are too many people in that villa right now, but in terms of the flow of the show the sheer amount of singles is a big no-no.
'The central premise of the show is to remain on Love Island, you have to be in a couple.
'Bosses staged a mega cull and it shook things up.'
With three weeks until the final, very few couples are still going strong as there are still seven singletons in the love nest.
Ciaran, 21, and Nicole, 24 are considered one of the only solid couples in the villa whilst Joey Essex, 33, and Jessy Potts, 25, have remained strong through Casa Amor.
Sean Stone and Matilda Draper, both 24, have had several weeks of happiness under their belt, but they were rocked by the relationship test when the sweet shop owner bit off more than he could chew in Casa Amor.
Ayo Odukoya, 25, and his twist coupling with Jessica Spencer, 25, also appeared to pay off, as their romance continues to blossom.

The huge axing comes just hours after Uma sent shockwaves through the villa when she dramatically quit the villa on Tuesday's episode.
She shocked her fellow islanders when she walked from the show after Wil was dumped in the recoupling.
Uma and Wil were coupled up and, after a rough period following Casa Amor, had patched things up.
But bombshell Reuben Collins chose to couple up with Uma which meant Wil was left single and dumped from the villa.

Speaking after her decision to quit the show, Uma said: 'I knew where my head and heart was at and it’s with Wil so I wanted to be true to my feelings for him.'
The pair are looking ahead to growing their romance outside the villa, with Uma adding: 'We can’t wait to just do normal things on the outside, stay inside and have a takeaway and go on cute dates.
'Wil wants to take me to Whitley Bay to see where he’s from but we’ve also discussed him possibly moving to London so I’m looking forward to the future with him. The only way is up from here.'
Uma told how she felt an instant connection with Wil from the moment he entered the villa and found it tough being away from him during Casa Amor.
She said: 'When Wil walked in I instantly felt a connection with him, he was all in for me which I really liked, and it was refreshing off the back of the Ayo situation.
'Once Wil took me to the other Villa for an overnight stay something clicked and I felt a special spark in that moment which made me realise he was the person for me.
'That’s why I found Casa hard for me as it made me miss Wil more. I feel so comfortable and happy around him.
'Seeing him waiting for me after Casa was such a special feeling, I know we’ve had our challenges but it’s made us stronger than ever. He’s my blueberry.'

The islanders were all asked to sit by the firepit before it was revealed that new boys Reuben and Joshua Oyinsan would choose the girl they wanted to couple up with.
'The girl I've decided to steal is... Uma,' said Reuben.
With tears in her eyes, Uma turned to kiss Wil multiple times before going up to stand with Reuben.
Wil then received a text, which read: 'Wil you are now single and therefore have been dumped from the island. Please pack your bags and say your goodbyes.'
As the islanders around the firepit gasped, Uma burst into tears and straight away said: 'I'm going to leave, sorry.'
Speaking to the girls, Uma added: 'I'm leaving guys I'm not being funny, I'm going. I'm literally going guys, I'm not staying here without him.'
'If that's what you think is right then follow your heart,' Nicole said, as Uma replied: 'What the f*** am i doing here now, do you know what I mean? We just got back to a good place.'
Love Island continues on Wednesday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
