ITV 'is inundated with Ofcom complaints as Love Island fans are left furious over Movie Night argument'
ITV has been inundated with complaints from outraged Love Island viewers over the explosive Movie Night episode.
Some viewers were so upset by the heated scenes that they lodged official complaints with the broadcasting watchdog.
According to The Sun, a total of 55 complaints were written in, with Ofcom confirming many related to Nicole Samuel's attitude towards Ciaran Davies.
During the episode, Nicole shouted at Ciaran as clips from his time in Casa Amor were played in front of the entire villa.
Both were seen second guessing their relationship with Ciaran unimpressed over Nicole referring to him as childish.

'You just pulled me up on my biggest insecurity, that I told you,' he told her, to which she said he was 'giving child'.
'It's one thing for me, one thing for you,' he said.
Getting angrier, Nicole replied: 'Was there any clips of me on there getting with any boys, or being interested in any boys, or saying things with any boys?'
'What? Because I kissed Emma in a game?' Ciaran asked.
Fans were left furious by the scenes with some taking to X to tell Ciaran to dump Nicole after the argument.
It comes after reports that Love Island bosses have staged a mass dumping from the villa.
Just a day after a double departure saw Wil Anderson and Uma Jammeh exit the villa, sources claim that viewers should prepare to say goodbye to even more fan favourites in upcoming scenes.
The abode of love was nearly overflowing in recent days as 17 people are still in the running for the final, which is just weeks away.
Just when the Islanders thought they had seen enough drama for one week, Love Island bosses have reportedly staged a mass dumping from the villa
After Wil Anderson and Uma Jammeh's (pictured) emotional departure on Tuesday, show executives swung the axe and chopped a number of fan favourites from the running
Every single spare bed was taken and first-day couples such as Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel have had to make use of the day beds in the garden.
After Wil Anderson and Uma Jammeh's emotional departure on Tuesday, show executives swung the axe and chopped a number of fan favourites from the running, according to the Sun.
A source told the publication: 'Logistically there are too many people in that villa right now, but in terms of the flow of the show the sheer amount of singles is a big no-no.
'The central premise of the show is to remain on Love Island, you have to be in a couple.
'Bosses staged a mega cull and it shook things up.'
Despite their argument, Ciaran, 21, and Nicole, 24 are considered one of the only solid couples in the villa whilst Joey Essex, 33, and Jessy Potts, 25, have remained strong through Casa Amor
With three weeks until the final, very few couples are still going strong as there are still seven singletons in the love nest.
Despite their recent argument, Ciaran, 21, and Nicole, 24 are considered one of the only solid couples in the villa whilst Joey Essex, 33, and Jessy Potts, 25, have remained strong through Casa Amor.
Sean Stone and Matilda Draper, both 24, have had several weeks of happiness under their belt, but they were rocked by the relationship test when the sweet shop owner bit off more than he could chew in Casa Amor.
Ayo Odukoya, 25, and his twist coupling with Jessica Spencer, 25, also appeared to pay off, as their romance continues to blossom.
MailOnline has contacted Love Island representatives for a comment.
