Watch What Happens Live: Shannon Beador reveals she still drinks despite 2023 arrest for DUI and hit-and-run

Shannon Beador shared that she has not stopped drinking alcohol despite her DUI arrest on Thursday's episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
'Right now I can have a couple of drinks and I'm accountable to me,' Shannon said. 'So if I find that alcohol becomes an issue for me then I'll address it. But for now, I'm good.'
The 60-year-old star of The Real Housewives of Orange County was arrested last September for DUI and hit-and-run after leaving her ex-boyfriend John Janssen's house after a fight and crashing into a house.
Andy, 56, asked if she had to breathalyze herself before she gets into a car to drive while pointing out that they saw a breathalyzer on the show.
'You have to blow and hum together,' Shannon said. 'It took a while to get the blow and hum down but I've got it now.'

Shannon told Andy she had already completed her community service working at the thrift store of her church. Shannon said had been using alcohol as a coping mechanism but now she uses breathing and walking outside.
'There is not a day that goes by where I don't think about what happened and how grateful I am that no one got hurt,' Shannon said.
One viewer asked her thoughts as to why her ex-John Janssen was dating Alexis Bellino, 47, when he had said he wanted to be out of the spotlight when he was dating her.
'Well, that's a question that I can't answer,' Shannon said. 'It's pretty obvious isn't it. He's doing red carpet interviews at Oscar parties now, Andy.'
Shannon said she had issues with Alexis before John. Andy said he thought it was exciting to see Alexis back on the show. Shannon said she was approaching the one year mark of her DUI.
'What is ironic to me is that I know what I've done to prove myself and I'm proud of where I've come in just a year and they have no idea,' Shannon said.
One fan asked when the last time was that she spoke to John and whether she had seen him out with Alexis inOrange County.
'The last time when I spoke to John was when he called me to tell me that he was cutting ties with me and that I ruined his life and his family's lives by making everything so public,' Shannon said.

Shannon said she wasn't dating anyone now either. Shannon said she made a commitment after her DUI to be completely honest.
Andy asked her about John suing her for $75,000 after she allegedly borrowed the money for a facelift.
'I will tell you that I never signed anything, he never asked me to pay him anything once and what's interesting is that I know that attorneys fees will surpass $75,000 so I offered him payment in full and he said no,' Shannon said. 'So what are your ulterior motives? It's not money.'
