Radio star Clint Stanaway has debuted an amazing new look.

The 41-year-old has revealed he has shed a whopping 9kg in just 12 weeks.

Clint, who is part of the Jase and Lauren Nova 100 breakfast team, undertook a strenuous training program and managed to drop his weight from 92.5kg to 83.5kg.

Posting to his Instagram on Friday, Clint shared a 'before and after' photo spread showing off his new physique.

Posing bare chested and wearing shorts Clint appears to have toned his stomach, pecs, and abs and trimmed off any excess fat in a stunning transformation.

The pictures feature in the latest edition of Men's Health Australia.

'I lost track of my personal time and found it difficult to manage my fitness,' Clint said in an interview with the magazine.

'From there, I started to put on weight and before I knew it, I was the heaviest I've ever been at 92.5kg.'

He added that he had fallen into some bad habits that affected his mental and physical wellbeing.

'My lifestyle didn't help. Seven mornings a week of radio and TV while eating on the run and not sleeping in meant that my mental health was suffering too.

'But really, I just hated seeing myself in the mirror. … That was the catalyst for change.'

Clint shed the kilos under the supervision of personal trainer Matt Boland, who later shared video of the radio star working out to his social media.

The Nova star's fitness regime included four solid work outs a week and featured training focused on specific targets each day.

Clint worked with push, pull, upper body and lower body routines in order to shed the weight and build up muscles and strength.

Meanwhile, Clint said he stopped drinking alcohol and dumped sugar heavy foods from his diet while he was in training.

The Channel Nine host added that his transformation has been a confidence booster and added his mental health and general health have improved.

It comes after Clint was one of three new hosts confirmed for Channel Nine's breakfast program Weekend Today earlier this year.

The network announced Jayne Azzopardi and Clint as the new hosts fronting the show, with Sophie Walsh as newsreader and Dan Anstey as weather presenter.

Jayne, Clint and Sophie replaced veteran hosts Richard Wilkins, Belinda Russell and Charles Croucher.
