Elle King reveals she was 'high' at the Grammys after eating 'a bunch of pot muffins' before red carpet
Elle King was 'accidentally high' at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The 27-year-old singer was nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for her appearance on Dierks Bentley's track Different for Girls, and has admitted that after eating a number of 'pot muffins' before taking to the red carpet at the glitzy ceremony in Los Angeles she found herself to be 'really stoned.'
Posting a picture of herself from the red carpet on Instagram on Tuesday, the Ex's and Oh's hitmaker said: 'Note to self, don't eat a bunch of pot muffins before the Grammys red carpet. #AccidentallyHighAF'

The America's Sweetheart singer also posted a video clip of one interview she gave in which she claimed break-ups are different between girls and boys because 'Boys have never had a period.'
The caption on the video read: 'This is what happens when you're accidentally rly stoned at the Grammys.'
'You see something shiny, forget that you're on camera, then forget the question, then remember no one should ever let me be interviewed. #SorryMom #StonedAtTheGrammys'

And the quirky blonde - who wore a stunning floor length flower dress complete with a flower crown head dress - also seemed to regret her fashion choices at the event as she likened her look to a 'Snapchat filter.'
She captioned another photo: 'Sometimes when you're accidentally high af from pot muffins, you don't realize you're A F***ING SNAPCHAT FILTER until after the Grammys and people tell you.'

Meanwhile, on the night of the Grammy's, Elle took to the photo sharing website to dub her dress as her 'dream gown' and thanked 41-year-old Dierks for being her friend.
She wrote: 'Dream gown thanks to @teutamatoshiduriqi and crown by @lirika.matoshi even though we didn't bring the home the gold, every day is a win because @dierksbentley is my friend. Love you old boy (sic)'
Ex's and Oh's is one of Elle's most popular hits, but she didn't see that coming.
When she spoke to Idolator last year about the song, she admitted she didn't even expect it to be on the album.
'When I co-wrote that song, we still really hadn't come up with what the plan was for me,' she said.
'I was still doing a lot of co-writing and so we wrote that song, I wrote it with Dave Bassett, and we were laughing about it.'
Elle continued: 'We sent it in. We're like, "Let's see what they say." It wasn't long after that, that they were like, "We want to use it as a single." We were, like, "Oh, okay cool!"'
