In 2014, Kesha sued the 44-year-old music producer, accusing him of 'sexually, physically, verbally, and emotionally' abusing her, as reported by Rolling Stone.
In the lawsuit, she asked to be released from her contract with the record industry power player, allowing her to record and release new music, but was ultimately denied.
Last year, the TiK ToK singer released her first album in five years, Rainbow.
It spawned the hit single, Praying, which was inspired by her ordeal.

Kesha performed the song at this year's Grammys, supported by a host of female musicians, including Cyndi Lauper, Camila Cabello and Bebe Rexha.
'That moment is so intense,' she said of the performance during an interview on The Project.
'It had so much intensity building up to that moment for years, and then the two months before that moment were so emotional. In the actual moment, I was just like, "Don't pass out".'
