John Boyega shows off his bold style in a colourful £600 tracksuit as he starts the Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker press tour in New York
He's known for playing stormtrooper Finn in the Star Wars films and is set to star in the latest installment, The Rise Of Skywalker.
And John Boyega looked ready for business as he kick started the movie's press tour in New York City on Tuesday.
The British actor, 27, cut a fashionable figure in a colourful £350 bomber jacket from Reebok's collaboration with American label Pyer Moss.
Stand out: John Boyega, 27, cut a fashionable figure in a £600 designer tracksuit as he stepped out in New York City on Tuesday with his friend Asia Worthen-Bingley
John stood out as he strolled around the city with pal Asia Worthen-Bingley in a matching tracksuit and trainers.
His jacket, which costs £349.95 ($450), boasted one red sleeve with gold writing down it and was paired with a simple white t-shirt.
John also donned the matching Reebok trousers, which cost £249.95 ($321), to complete his eye-catching outfit.
The star's ensemble was created by designer Kerby Jean-Raymond and featured a graphic design inspired by the Twi saying 'Sankofa' from Ghana.
Style: The Star Wars actor's bomber jacket boasted one red sleeve with label Pyer Moss' name written in gold down it and was paired with a simple white t-shirt
Reebok explained that this translates to 'Go back and get it,' adding that the jacket's crinkly fabric gives the designer item a wrinkled look.
John's 'best friend' Asia also looked chic as she stepped out with the actor while wearing beige trousers and black boots.
Asia completed her look by donning a white sweatshirt with Worldwide written around a circle on the front.
Best friends: Asia and John, pictured together at the start of November, both shared their excitement for the Star Wars press tour on Instagram
The pair both took to Instagram to share a snap of the outing with John writing: 'First stop on what will be a pretty long press tour with my best friend! Let’s get it!'
It comes after John said he was sad to leave the Star Wars franchise in an interview with Total Film magazine.
When asked if he felt bittersweet about leaving he said: 'Yeah, 100 per cent, because you no longer have the consistency with these people who you have genuine friendships with.'
Talent: John has played conflicted storm trooper Finn since 2015 and recently said leaving the franchise, which wraps with The Rise Of Skywalker, is '100 per cent bitter sweet'
Making his debut: John as Finn and Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron in 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Brit's first appearance in the Star Wars universe
However, John said he was pleased that his character has maintained a sense of 'mystery'.
He added: 'It feels OK, because, with just three films, there's still a curiosity and a mystery about Finn. There are still certain things that I really don't know about him. It feels like, "OK, cool. It's a balanced, right time."
John was 'full of confidence' shooting The Rise Of Skywalker because after making two movies he knew exactly what was expected of him.
Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is set to hit screens on December 20.
