Luke Hemmings has unveiled a dramatic new look on social media following a three month break.
Uploading a photo to his Instagram on Thursday, the 5 Seconds of Summer rocker sent his 6.5million followers into a frenzy.
Luke, 24, was almost unrecognisable completely covered in tattoos all over his face and arms.

In the image, the hunk revealed several inkings, including a spider web, bible and skull tattoos.
The post was quickly inundated with comments, with one fan writing: 'I just had an heart attack.'
Meanwhile, another cheekily wrote: 'I think you're finally punk rock now.'

Assuring fans his look was only temporarily, Luke wrote: 'I know it's late but I dressed up as lanky Ryan Gosling for Halloween just to stay home, swipe for our crazy night.'
The singer is known to have five real tattoos - a bird, a five tally mark, and the years his parents were born.

It comes as his popular pop group, 5 Seconds of Summer, were forced to reschedule their November tour Australian tour until March 2021.
'While we're all disappointed to reschedule these shows, the safety of our fans, touring crew and venue staff takes precedence and we know this is the right decision,' the group said in a statement.
