Amy Poehler returns to voice Joy in this Disney Pixar sequel
Inside Out 2 is an animated movie produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney. It is a direct sequel to Inside Out and is directed by Kelsey Mann in his directorial debut. Mann has worked as a story supervisor on other Pixar movies such as Monsters University, The Good Dinosaur, Lightyear, and Elemental. The screenplay is written by Meg LeFauve who wrote the original movie and The Good Dinosaur.
Inside Out 2 features Amy Poehler in the role of Joy. Phyllis Smith voices Sadness. Lewis Black voices Anger. Tony Hale plays the character Fear, taking over from Bill Hader who voiced them in the last movie. Liza Lapira steps in to voice Disgust, taking over from Mindy Kaling. Maya Hawke stars as Anxiety. Inside Out 2 was released in theaters on June 14, 2024.
