Synopsis
In a retrofuturist present people are seeking survival at all costs
Living in the aftermath of nuclear conflict, the survivors of this shocking event are changed forever. As they emerge from their Vaults they are faced with a flurry of different threats learning as they go that the world of Fallout is far from friendly.

Fallout is a post-apocalyptic television show based on the video game franchise of the same name. The show is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Kilter Films, and Bethseda Game Studios. Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan are the co-creators of the show, having worked together previously in developing the hit series Westworld.
Which Fallout game does the TV show adapt?
The live-action Fallout series doesn’t directly adapt the storyline from any of the existing video games. It is an original story set in the same universe and timeline as the games. The events of the series are considered canon.
When is Fallout set?
The Fallout series is set in the year 2296. The whole series of the events in the Fallout franchise is centered on the Great War, a nuclear conflict between China and the US which occurs in the year 2077. The timeline of the video games finishes in the year 2287, which means the television series picks up six years after the end of the video game timeline.
Who is in the cast of Fallout?
Fallout is led by English actress Ella Purnell, best known for her work on the television show Yellowjackets. She is joined by Walter Goggins, an actor known for his roles in Justified and The Shield. The expanded cast includes Kyle MacLachlan, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Mike Doyle, Moises Arias, and Aaron Moten.
